HowTo-Reflexology is founded upon the knowledge, experience and teaching materials of Jean Gibson MICHT a qualified professional Reflexologist and Complimentary Therapy practitioner, teacher and assessor/verifier of over 25 years standing.

A former qualified nurse, Jean trained and qualified as a teacher and taught in schools in Hampshire, UK, during the 1970s. Following a life-long deep interest in natural and complimentary therapies, during the 1980s she trained and was qualified as a practitioner, teacher and assessor/verifier across a wide range of complimentary therapies and disciplines.

Jean specialises in therapies including Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Anatomy & Physiology, Trans-Cadence Massage, Reflex Zone Therapy, Acupuncture Touch & Massage, Past Life Regression, Medical Astrology of Essential Oils, and more.

Professional Qualifications include: NVQ, ITEC, City & Guilds, Oxford University, Association of Reflexologists, Health & Safety Institute, VTCT, International Council of Holistic Therapies, Federation of Holistic Therapists, Assoc of Therapy Lecturers, China Reflexology Association, International Institute of Health & Holistic Therapies, and other leading standards bodies.

In 2000 Jean travelled to China to study YU FU (Chinese method of Reflexology and Ear Reflexology).

She was taught by Professor Hang Xiongwen at the China Reflexology Association in Beijing and was awarded professional qualifications in Oct 2000, becoming one of few professional therapists in Britain qualified to practice and teach YU FU (Chinese Reflexology).

During a second visit to China Jean developed her skills further by studying Chinese Medicine, Astrology and Calligraphy.

During the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s Jean operated a successful therapist practice and training school. Over three decades she has taught, qualified, mentored and supported over 3000 students, with public presentations and lectures to many hundreds more.
